What You’ll Be Part Of
As an AME Process Engineer, you will play a key role in defining, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and equipment for acoustic products. You will work closely with the Industrial Project Manager, project engineering, product development, and cross-functional teams to ensure robust manufacturing solutions, optimal process design, cost efficiency, quality, and on-time project execution.
In addition to your core process engineering responsibilities, you will actively support the Industrial Project Manager in the execution of industrialization projects, contributing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for process and equipment development, technical specifications, supplier coordination, process validation, and successful implementation of manufacturing solutions.
You will also collaborate closely with functions such as Quality, Manufacturing, Product Engineering, and Project Management to ensure that new and transferred acoustic products are successfully industrialized and meet the required performance, quality, cost, and timing targets.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Lead manufacturing process development and industrialization activities for new product introductions from concept to stable mass production.
Design, implement, and continuously improve production processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, capacity, and operator ergonomics.
Drive APQP deliverables, including PFMEA, Control Plans, process validation, and manufacturing documentation.
Manage product and process changes, ensuring successful implementation while meeting customer, business, and quality requirements.
Support feasibility studies, RFQ activities, and early project reviews to improve product manufacturability and production readiness.
Coordinate prototype, pilot, and pre-production builds, ensuring a smooth transition into serial production.
Partner with global and cross-functional teams to standardize manufacturing processes, resolve technical challenges, and promote lessons learned across projects.
What Makes You A Strong Fit
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant technical field.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industry.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies, including APQP and FMEA.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and systematic approach to work.
Ability to work independently while demonstrating flexibility, creativity, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to drive decisions and achieve results in a cross-functional environment.
