Brints School is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging American History Online Tutor to teach learners about key events, people, movements, and developments in U.S. history, delivering interactive, learner-focused lessons online.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive online American History lessons
- Explain historical events, concepts, timelines, and their significance clearly
- Prepare lesson materials and activities based on learners' needs and academic levels
- Assess learners' understanding through assignments, quizzes, and discussions
- Provide constructive feedback and monitor academic progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in History, American Studies, Education, Social Studies, Political Science, or related field
- Strong knowledge of American History and major historical periods
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an added advantage
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
- Reliable internet connection and suitable environment for online teaching
