AmeriQual Foods is hiring a 1st & 2nd shift QA Line Technician in Evansville, IN to monitor in-process product quality during food production: running checks on filling equipment, identifying and logging nonconforming product, collecting samples for lab analysis, and entering data into SPC. Job Purpose

The QA Line Technician position is responsible for performing and monitoring in process product analysis to ensure the product being produced is meeting or exceeding internal, customer, and regulatory specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform various quality related checks and a test to ensure filling equipment is operating within specification. This testing is done at start up and throughout the production run.

· Ensure nonconforming product is visually identified, logged and communicated with relevant team members

· Collect samples from various locations for laboratory analysis, retention, and incubation.

· Enter in-process data into SPC

· Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization, industry, and regulatory standards and maintaining a clean and 5S work area.

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent degree
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and/or previous experience in QA/QC preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail, general math knowledge, and basic computer literacy.
  • Strong reasoning, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive mentality, with the ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with other team members
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
