The OpportunityAs an AML and Sanctions- Data Scientist- Senior Associate, you will leverage data and analytics to provide strategic insights and drive informed decision-making for clients. Within our Risk & Regulatory practice, you will develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work even when the path forward isn’t clear.
In this role, you will utilize advanced analytics techniques to help clients optimize their operations and achieve their strategic goals. You will be part of the Financial Crimes Unit - AML & Sanctions Managed Services, focusing on the Banking and Capital Markets sector. By interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations, you will contribute to the broader objectives of your projects and understand how your work fits into the overall strategy. This position offers an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving.
Responsibilities
- Leveraging data analytics to provide strategic insights and drive informed decision-making for clients
- Developing and implementing innovative solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage
- Utilizing business intelligence tools and techniques to analyze complex data sets and generate actionable insights
- Building and maintaining meaningful client relationships to understand and anticipate their needs
- Navigating complex situations and using critical thinking to solve problems and deliver quality outcomes
- Collaborating with teams to develop and deploy scalable data visualization and analytics solutions
- Upholding professional and technical standards while interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations
- Engaging in continuous learning to deepen technical skills and enhance personal growth within the business context
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Biology/Biomedical Sciences, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Financial Mathematics/Quantitative Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Project/Technology Management, Risk Management/Insurance, Science
- Utilizing Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) effectively
- Developing data pipelines and data architecture solutions

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
