AML Compliance Analyst
You will oversee and implement AML and CTF compliance activities for the DCM and DCO. You will maintain policies and controls, assess financial-crime risks, manage transaction monitoring and KYC processes, deliver training, coordinate regulatory examinations, and update procedures for regulatory changes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain AML and CTF policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments for money-laundering and terrorist-financing risks.
- Oversee transaction monitoring, suspicious-activity detection, reporting, and AML record retention.
- Manage KYC and enhanced due diligence for high-risk participants.
- Monitor ongoing customer activity for unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Develop and deliver AML and CTF training programs.
- Serve as the primary contact for AML inquiries from regulators and law enforcement.
- Coordinate regulatory examinations and audits.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update AML policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of AML and CTF experience in financial services.
- Exposure to derivatives, futures, or commodities markets.
- Knowledge of CFTC rules and regulations applicable to DCMs and DCOs.
- Understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act, FinCEN requirements, and the United States AML regulatory framework.
- Experience with AML transaction-monitoring systems and KYC/CDD processes.
- Analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication skills for working with regulators, senior management, and operational teams.
