We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated AML Manager to join our internal Quality & Risk Management (QRM) team.

How you will Make an Impact
As an AML Manager you will play an important part in supporting the firm’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Client (KYC), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures and in maintaining a strong and effective financial crime compliance framework.
Working as part of the firm’s central AML team, you will support the firm’s MLRO and wider QRM team in the day to day management and continued development of the firm’s AML/CFT framework. Your main tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the firm’s AML/CFT policies, processes, operational controls and their practical application;
- Acting as a reliable point of reference, providing expert guidance and promptly addressing internal queries or escalations;
- Assisting in the analysis of the firm’s clients’ profiles in carrying out the necessary client risk assessments at client on-boarding stage and on an ongoing basis;
- Reviewing and advising on higher-risk client acceptance and continuance matters, including complex customer risk assessments;
- Monitoring regulatory developments and helping translate any new or changing requirements into effective internal processes and updating of any relevant policies;
- Contributing to internal AML monitoring, quality assurance and internal control testing
- Supporting client facing teams within the firm on matters or queries relating to AML/CFT;
- Engaging in any other tasks commensurate with the role.
Let’ s Talk About You
You will ideally have a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role, with a tertiary level of education, and a strong practical knowledge of relevant Anti Money Laundering legislation, guidance, and regulatory expectations. Preference will be given to candidates having practical experience with a corporate client base, including those clients forming part of large corporate structures.

Your Specialized skills:
- Very sound knowledge of local AML/CFT laws and regulations
- A high standard of written and spoken English
- An ability and willingness to work within and as part of a team
- Sound judgement and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- An eye for detail
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
- Naturally inquisitive, analytical and able to highlight risks based on findings
- Sound computer literacy; MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Strong management skills including the ability to coordinate workloads, set priorities and support the effective delivery of team objectives
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Practical experience in regulatory compliance or AML compliance, especially with exposure to clients forming part of large corporate structures.
- Possession of a compliance and/or anti money laundering related qualification
- Background in accounting/auditing.
