AMS Senior Engineer
Summary
Designs and implements analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver silicon solutions from specification to tape-out and post-silicon validation.
- Collaborate closely with Analog/Mixed-Signal, Digital, Verification, and Physical Design teams to deliver high-quality silicon solutions that meet performance, power, area, quality, and schedule requirements.
- Own and drive AMS implementation activities throughout the design cycle, ensuring successful execution from specification review through tape-out.
- Lead and actively contribute to Front-End and Back-End design reviews, ensuring compliance with design methodologies, technology requirements, and quality standards.
- Contribute to post-silicon validation, characterization, debugging, and root-cause analysis of fabricated devices, driving corrective actions when needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to identify risks, estimate effort, and ensure successful execution against project milestones.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve design quality, turnaround time, and team effectiveness.
- Work independently and methodically on analyzing design, tool, and technology problems, identifying best solutions, and implementing the solutions in a repeatable fashion that integrates well within the implementation flow.
- Ensure compliance with company design processes, documentation standards, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support customer, product, or system teams in technical discussions related to AMS design performance, integration, and silicon bring-up activities when required.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree of: Electronics Engineering.
- Years of experience in the same field: 3-8 Years of experience in Mixed-Signal IC design
- English Language Proficiency: Fluency
- Computer skills required:
- Shell scripting/programming languages
- Unix/Linux operating systems.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- SerDes, PLL, and CDR experience is a plus
- Project Management Experience.
