This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de QA Tester Pleno - Home Office based in Brazil.

This role is ideal for a QA professional who believes quality should be built throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
You will contribute across the full testing journey, from understanding requirements and defining BDD scenarios to automation, pipeline execution, and failure analysis.
The position combines hands-on test automation with exploratory testing and continuous improvement of quality practices.
You will work closely with Developers, Product Owners, UX professionals, and other team members in a collaborative Agile environment.
Your work will directly support more reliable products by expanding test coverage, reducing instability, and identifying risks early.
You will also have opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve test design, automation, and failure investigation.

• Participate in requirements analysis and refinement, identifying business rules, test scenarios, potential risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into structured BDD scenarios that provide clear and effective test coverage.
• Plan testing strategies and determine which scenarios are best suited for manual testing versus automation.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve automated UI tests using Cypress and Cucumber.
• Integrate and monitor automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, helping ensure reliable and repeatable validation throughout the development process.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing when required, particularly for new features and scenarios that are not yet covered by automation.
• Analyze test failures, investigate root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve identified issues.
• Identify flaky, redundant, or low-value automated tests and continuously improve the overall quality and effectiveness of the test suite.
• Document and track defects clearly, providing sufficient information to facilitate reproduction, investigation, and resolution.
• Use AI-powered tools to support scenario generation, identification of edge cases, test automation, refactoring, and failure analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, UX, and other stakeholders to promote quality as a shared responsibility.
• Share QA knowledge, technical practices, and automation standards to contribute to the ongoing development of the testing team.

Requirements:

• Completed higher education or a technology degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of software testing principles, quality strategies, and the role of QA throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to interpret requirements and acceptance criteria and translate them into comprehensive and structured test scenarios.
• Practical knowledge of BDD, Cucumber, and Cypress for automated UI testing.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript applied to automated testing.
• Understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, and other relevant software testing approaches.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and an understanding of the QA role within a sprint.
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application to software development and quality assurance.
• Experience structuring automation projects using Cypress, Cucumber, and BDD is considered an advantage.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and/or automating REST APIs is a plus.
• Knowledge of the test automation pyramid and the ability to determine the appropriate level of automation for different scenarios is desirable.
• Experience working with quality metrics and test coverage is an advantage.
• Experience using AI for test scenario generation, automation, test refactoring, or failure analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
