Workforce Planning & Data Analyst

The Workforce Planning & Data Analyst supports workload management, workforce planning, reporting, and data analysis activities. This role gathers and analyzes data, develops reports and metrics, executes database queries, and creates clear visual representations of information to support business decisions. The position works with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify trends, make recommendations, and follow through on project and reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support workload management and workforce planning activities through standardized processes and systems.
  • Assist with maintenance planning, recommendations, tracking, and workload optimization.
  • Develop and maintain routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Gather, review, and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Make data-driven recommendations and coordinate follow-up activities to support business and project objectives.
  • Schedule meetings, modify data, conduct additional analysis, and communicate reporting updates as needed.
  • Write and execute queries against databases to retrieve and analyze business information.
  • Create clear, accurate, and easy-to-understand visual representations of datasets.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful reports and presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements for reports, projects, and analytical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to validate data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Support special projects and other analytical assignments as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, required.
  • Experience with Power BI development preferred.
  • Experience with SQL Server and database querying preferred.
  • Programming or scripting experience using languages such as M, R, JavaScript, PHP, or C++ preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective reports and analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
