Analyst/Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst
Summary
Assess credit proposals and borrower ratings, check covenants, prepare regulatory inspection materials, and monitor economic conditions using spreadsheets and analysis.
You will independently assess credit and borrower rating applications, perform covenant compliance checks, prepare materials for regulatory inspections, review customer spreadsheets, monitor economic and business conditions, and collaborate with stakeholders on credit review and portfolio monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Assess credit proposals and borrower rating applications
- Perform covenant compliance checks
- Prepare materials for FSA, BOJ, MAS, and other inspections
- Make and check customer spreadsheets
- Monitor economic and business conditions for potential credit issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders on credit review and monitoring
Requirements
- Degree in banking and finance, business, accountancy, or economics preferred
- No experience required
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Good written English
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
