Analyst, Commercial Pricing

Commercial Pricing Analyst.

The Commercial Pricing Analyst will support customer pricing, contract pricing, and RFP RFQ opportunities. This role will be responsible for keeping track of historical pricing, reviewing market trends, and helping build pricing that is competitive while still protecting our margins. The Commercial Pricing Analyst will work closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Finance and other key stakeholders ensuring pricing is accurate, clear, and aligned with the business. The Commercial Pricing Analyst will support other projects as needed including reports, data analysis, and Power Point presentations. The Commercial Pricing Analyst will report to the Customer Service Manager, with no direct reports.

What you will be responsible for\:

  • Maintain and review historical pricing data as well as market trends to help support better pricing decisions, including customer history and cost inputs to help recommend pricing strategies.
  • Create and validate customer pricing for contracts RFP's, RFQ's and flat rate pricing opportunities. While maintaining the RFP RFQ tracker to help us understand the data.
  • Organize and maintain contract information, including pricing terms, renewal dates, expiration dates, and escalation clauses.
  • Work with internal departments to confirm labor, material and vendor cost, turnaround time estimations, and margin expectations.
  • Prepare pricing summaries, margin reviews, and business recommendations for management
  • Create reports, dashboards, and Power Point presentations based on pricing data and business trends.
  • Support additional projects and analysis as assigned
  • All other duties as assigned.
