Analyst / Associate, Energy & Infrastructure — Singapore

The combined needs of economic growth, energy security, decarbonization, electrification and digitalization are driving unprecedented demand for Energy and Infrastructure investment across Asia Pacific. Established in 2025 as part of the expansion of JLL's European Energy & Infrastructure platform into the region, the team provides equity, financing, and capital raising advisory to clients with an initial focus on renewable energy, storage, and energy transition across key Asian markets.
Given the success of the team since inception, we are looking for an Analyst / Associate to join the team, based in Singapore and reporting to the Asia Lead. The Analyst / Associate is an intermediate-level position responsible for leading financial modelling and valuation work, as well as supporting origination (pitching) and execution activities. Final title will be determined based on assessed experience.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial modelling and valuation across M&A, project financing, and capital raising mandates
- Support sell-side, buy-side, and capital raise transaction execution in renewables, storage, and infrastructure
- Conduct sector and market research on policy, technology, and competitive developments
- Prepare client deliverables and pitch materials
- Apply AI-augmented tools to modelling and research workflows
Experience & Skills:
- 2–4 years' experience in M&A advisory or project finance
- Direct exposure to the power & utilities or renewables sector
- Strong financial modelling and analytical / critical thinking skills
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working under pressure across multiple live mandates
- Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance research, analytical, and modelling workflows.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
The team is small and growing, Analysts / Associates report directly to the Asia Lead who gives them earlier ownership and client visibility on live transactions than is typical at larger platforms. The APAC team sits within a global 65-person Energy & Infrastructure business spanning APAC, EMEA and the US, sitting inside JLL's global Capital Markets division, providing various geographic and functional mid-term career paths.
