Your New Role

•Experience in providing technology client service

•Proven ability to use relevant data analytics approaches and tools to problem-solve and trouble-shoot.

•Knowledge & experience with Build languages

•Focus on quality and detail.

•Excellent documentation and communication skills.

•Strong commitment to quality and auditability

It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following qualifications and experience

•Agile software development practices

•DevOps capabilities

•Testing standards, tooling, automation

•Technical acumen in technologies associated with complex and deeply integrated systems eg: e2e domain, business logic and technology (framework/service architecture)

•Expert with CI/CD, TDD, BDD

•Expert in Quality Engineering

•APIs, microservices

What you'll bring

•Perform hands-on design and implementation of best practice CI/CD

•Apply pro-actively a CI/CD mindset and corresponding cultural transformation.

•Work with delivery teams to achieve success through the adoption of CI/CD and DevOps practices, processes and tooling.

•Influence the delivery of best practice while maintaining Software Engineers ownership of their Software Delivery Tools, CI/CD and DevOps capabilities.

•Identify opportunities to maximise consistency of CI/CD tooling across the enterprise

•Promote collaboration (both internal and external to Service team) of Software Delivery Tools, Continuous Delivery and DevOps usage at NAB

•Implement and/or be responsible for Software Delivery Tool and Continuous Delivery Tool/s capabilities as in alignment with the roadmap

•Provide a stable and performing Software Delivery Tool and Continuous Delivery Tool platform, leveraging enterprise tools where appropriate for the Service

•Coaching and mentoring of other Service team members

•Improvement in automation of application deployments to production and pre-production release environments

•Evidence of continuous integration, build management and deployment scripts and systems

•Recognized as a key contributor to the innovation, development and implementation of changes relating to value control and reconciliations

•Evidence of potential cost savings through process simplification, optimization and automation

•Stakeholder engagement – recognised as ‘trusted advisor’ to the business
