Summary

Oversee transfer-pricing documentation, benchmarking, and audit defense for multinational clients, using tax databases and ERP tools while mentoring junior staff.

The Transfer Pricing AM / LAM will play a critical role in managing, executing, and delivering transfer pricing services and compliance frameworks. This role acts as a bridge between execution and strategy—overseeing junior associates to ensure accurate economic analyses, while collaborating with senior management to defend tax audits and identify tax optimization opportunities across various cross-border jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Compliance & Documentation Management

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of local files, master files, and Country-by-Country Reports (CbCR) in strict alignment with regional regulations and OECD/UN guidelines.
  • Oversee annual compliance reporting functions, including transfer pricing disclosures (e.g., Form 3CEB or regional equivalents).
  • Review economic analyses, functional and risk assessments to support intercompany transactions.

2. Benchmarking & Economic Analysis

  • Review benchmarking studies utilizing industry-standard tax databases (such as TP Catalyst, Orbis, Amadeus, or RoyaltyStat) to establish arm’s length pricing strategies.
  • Analyze financial statements, P&L data, and segment reporting for related-party transactions to ensure financial policies are accurately implemented.

3. Audit Defense & Litigation Support

  • Assisting in providing documentation, responses, defense files, and submissions for tax authorities regarding transfer pricing inquiries and audits.
  • Knowledge of evolving global tax landscapes, including BEPS Pillar 2 frameworks, and proactively work on the compliance requirements.

4. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Supervise, mentor, and coach a team of Tax Seniors and Associates, conducting detailed technical reviews of their work to maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Liaise across corporate departments (Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain) and network.
  • Good with tool / technology to extract data, work with calculation.
  • Use of AI for automating the work, proactively provide ideas for achieving efficiency
