Analyst, Finance Systems & Service Enablement
Do you want to join a fast-growing finance platform supporting global renewable energy infrastructure investments? If so, CIP Fund Solutions is looking for an Analyst to join our Finance Systems & Service Enablement team in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Team
As an Analyst in Finance Systems & Service Enablement, you will become part of a team responsible for improving the finance operating model across CIP Fund Solutions. The team supports global finance processes, business systems, service enablement, and operational improvements across finance, fund accounting, treasury, regional accounting teams, IT, and external service providers.
The team works across core finance processes, operational workflows, data quality, reporting, documentation, digital enablement, AI-supported process improvement, and broader capability-building workstreams. The role offers broad exposure to finance operations, process governance, scalable ways of working, system-enabled process design, data-driven improvement opportunities, and stakeholder management in an international environment.
Role
As an Analyst in Finance Systems & Service Enablement, you will support finance operations and process optimization initiatives across CIP Fund Solutions. You will work closely with the team and relevant stakeholders to contribute to improvement activities by mapping current ways of working, identifying pain points, preparing analysis, supporting implementation of process changes, and helping ensure that finance processes are efficient, controlled, and scalable across teams and platforms. The role will also include exposure to how AI and automation can be applied responsibly to improve workflows, improve decision support, reduce manual effort, and build practical capabilities across finance operations, including how process changes are adopted, embedded, and sustained in day-to-day ways of working.
Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
Support process optimization workstreams across finance operations, including process mapping, issue analysis, stakeholder input, implementation follow-up, change adoption, embedding of new ways of working, and tracking of agreed improvements.
Assist with process stabilization and improvement across purchase-to-pay, payment management, vendor setup, invoice workflows, employee/vendor data, and related control processes, with a focus on making processes more efficient, consistent, and scalable.
Contribute to AI-enabled process optimization by helping identify relevant use cases, structure process and data inputs, test practical solutions, document learnings, and support capability-building across the team.
Support implementation and enhancement projects by preparing analysis, coordinating testing, documenting requirements, following up on defects, and helping translate business needs into practical system and process solutions.
Prepare and maintain process documentation, user guides, task overviews, issue logs, access overviews, reporting inputs, and other knowledge materials to ensure repeatable and controlled finance operations.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, IT, regional finance teams, fund accounting, treasury, business users, and external service providers to align on process requirements, resolve operational blockers, clarify responsibilities, and support effective implementation of improvements across assigned workstreams.
You
We are looking for a highly structured, organized, and analytical candidate with a well-regarded academic record who is a 2nd or 3rd year BSc student, or at a similar stage of a relevant degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, operations, information systems, or another relevant field.
You are able to bring order to complex tasks, keep track of open items, document decisions and dependencies clearly, and follow through in a disciplined manner. You are interested in finance processes, data quality, controls, operational execution, renewable energy infrastructure, and how process optimization, AI-enabled tools, and structured ways of working can support scalable finance operations and enhanced organizational capabilities.
The role offers good development opportunities through broad exposure to finance operations, business processes, systems, stakeholders, and improvement initiatives. While we expect a high level of engagement and ownership, the role is designed to be compatible with ongoing studies and to support continued development as the team and platform continue to grow.
We look for the following in a candidate:
Highly structured and detail-oriented, with a well-developed ability to organize tasks, follow up consistently, maintain clear documentation, and ensure high quality in data, process execution, and deliverables.
Curious and willing to learn, with a genuine interest in finance operations, process optimization, controls, renewable energy infrastructure, AI-enabled ways of working, and how structured processes support scalable business capabilities.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to structure analysis, prepare clear materials, and communicate findings in a concise and professional manner.
Comfortable working with data, tasks, and open items, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, ask relevant questions, and follow up in a structured manner.
Able to work with minimal supervision on assigned tasks, deliver high-quality work in time-sensitive settings, and know when to involve others, seek guidance, or escalate issues.
Effective communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across functions, seniority levels, geographies, and external providers.
Self-motivated and service-minded, with a practical problem-solving mindset and the confidence to ask questions, escalate risks, and move tasks ahead.
