Finance Data & Reporting Lead (OPEX Controlling)
About the role:
This role represents a central position in our global Finance organization. As a Finance Data and Process Lead, you will be responsible for the financial data insights of OPEX data as well as related value streams. You are the global subject matter expert ensuring accurate reporting and continuous insights improvement based on different business stakeholder requirements. Furthermore, you will work in closed collaboration with our Finance BI interfaces in order drive data and reporting improvements.
What you will do:
Act as the global Subject Matter Expert (SME) for OPEX data insights and financial reporting.
Own and maintain accurate, timely, and complete financial reporting.
Drive continuous improvements to financial data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
Partner with Finance BI, IT, and business stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities and data quality.
Provide financial insights and act as a trusted advisor to the global finance community.
Develop, implement, and support effective business process controls and governance.
Own and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to OPEX Data Controlling.
Support cross-functional projects involving financial reporting, analytics, and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.
What you will need:
Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Finance Controlling, Financial Reporting, FP&A, or Finance Data Analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; VBA knowledge is an advantage.
Experience with Management Reporting, KPI development, and financial analytics.
Strong knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP BW data models; experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
Basic understanding of IFRS reporting standards.
Experience working within project management methodologies.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
