**This role is based in Boston, MA. It will be a hybrid role once our Boston office is opened**

tonies’ Global Consumer Insights (GCI) team represents the voice of the consumer within tonies to inform and influence product design and development, brand strategy, marketing approach, content, licensing and communications. The Analyst role is an essential support role within the GCI team, assisting in the execution of research projects and providing rigorous data analysis to support the team’s strategic frameworks and actionable insights.
The Opportunity
An Analyst of Consumer Insights supports the design, execution, and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative research studies for tonies. This role assists in providing insights for the product, content, marketing, digital, licensing, portfolio and retention teams. This position will report into the Senior Manager, Global Consumer Insights and will serve as support for the team’s research operations.
Who You Are:
You’re a detail-oriented data and insights analyst with a passion for uncovering insights that shape beloved kids’ products and content. You thrive on collaboration, are excited about both qualitative and quantitative research, and have an interest in turning complex data into clear, actionable narratives.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in the design and refinement of research instruments, including surveys, screeners, and discussion guides
Manage research logistics, including project scheduling and coordination with research vendors.
Moderate in-person or virtual qualitative sessions (e.g., focus groups).
Clean and visualize data to produce clear, accurate charts and presentation materials.
Work with finance and legal teams to help onboard research partners.
Stay current with trends in kids’ media, toys, and digital behavior.
Assist with and ultimately independently produce the team newsletter.
1-3 years of experience in consumer insights, market research, or a related analytical field or as part of academic experience
Experience working with kids and families
Foundational research skills, including proficiency with survey tools and basic quantitative data analysis.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with confidence in presenting to groups.
Creative thinker and effective problem-solver with a passion for kids and family-focused insights.
Highly detail-oriented with strong proofreading and presentation design skills.
Solid mathematical and analytical skills.
Exceptionally organized; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Proficiency with Google Workspace is a plus.
