Position Summary:
This job is responsible for capturing and refining business or system requirements that may involve a software change. Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand their needs, analyzing problems, capturing requirements, creating solutions, solving problems either manually or through software, and providing subject-matter expertise on products to support scope and requirement decisions. Job expectations include collaborating with project stakeholders to analyze and confirm requirements, creating, analyzing, and improving processes and writing user and technical stories. This role supports a broad and complex organization of approximately 1,700 resources, partnering with 80+ managers to drive effective resource planning and execution. The position provides significant exposure to senior leadership, particularly during critical forecast cycles, and plays a key role in ensuring alignment to financial and operational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with leaders to develop, manage, and execute resource plans across a large-scale organization
  • Support the end-to-end hiring process, including tracking open requisitions, partnering with leaders on hiring needs, and ensuring timely progress against staffing plans
  • Provide visibility into hiring pipelines, identify gaps, and proactively escalate risks to ensure alignment with resource and financial targets
  • Support quarterly forecast cycles, delivering insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate daily with Business Operations and Portfolio Governance teams to ensure consistency and discipline in planning processes
  • Drive transparency and accuracy in resource allocation, financial tracking, and operational execution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and reporting capabilities
  • Understands stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem
  • Supports cost and benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy
  • Gathers and catalogs functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests
  • Identifies the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assists with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design
  • Assists users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting, and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs
  • Documents processes, procedures and workflows for technology as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience including knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and/or data interpretation and analysis
  • Intermediate up to advanced proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Extremely organized/excellent time management skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with tools such as PMMT, TPAS and WMP
  • Prior experience in finance or business support, exposure to corporate forecasting, headcount reporting, variance analysis and knowledge of project management
