Summary
Configures, installs, maintains, and upgrades hospital information systems, hardware, and software under direct supervision. Administers and maintains security of operating systems. Provides operational support for the organization's information systems, peripheral equipment, and clinical applications. Provides onsite support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware. Performs routine assignments using existing procedures. Experience in pharmacy operations, pharmacy technology, hospital pharmacy environments, or healthcare application support. Understanding of medication management workflows is highly valuable. Experience supporting healthcare applications and customer-facing technical support environments is important.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
•0-3 years of experience required including pharmacy experiences.
• Requires knowledge of multi-application environments.
• Prefers experience with databases or clinical systems.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Pyxis medication dispensing systems.
- Experience with Swisslog technologies.
- Familiarity with pharmacy automation platforms, medication dispensing workflows, ServiceNow ticketing processes, healthcare applications, and application support.
- Pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable because it provides operational understanding of medication management workflows.
