Analyst
GREENHILL M&A ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build financial models with valuation support, including discounted cash flow, comparable companies, precedent transactions, leveraged buyout and merger combination analyses
- Develop and prepare client presentations and materials with a focus on quality, accuracy and timeliness
- Perform comprehensive research on a broad array of markets, industries and companies
- Develop M&A execution expertise across buy-side, sell-side and other strategic advisory mandates
- Interact with senior bankers, product partners and clients on M&A processes
- Participate in the evaluation, preparation, due diligence and execution of M&A transactions
- Coordinate with relevant groups across Mizuho | Greenhill
- Cultivate positive attitude with the team
- Create an extensive capstone project—incorporating M&A modeling, valuation analysis and industry research to construct a comprehensive presentation
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a similar field
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Basic knowledge of and interest in financial concepts
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to act as a leader and a team player
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Salary: $110,000
