Job Summary
The System Engineer isresponsible in the following:
- Managing and monitoring allinstalled systems and infrastructure
- Installing, configuring,testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and systemmanagement tools
- Ensuring the highest levelsof systems and infrastructure availability.
- Create and maintain jobs inEFT application.
- Perform health checks forjobs after monthly infra maintenance.
Responsibilities | CORE
- Manage and monitor allinstalled systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, testand maintain operating systems, application software and system managementtools
- Perform system patching,application deployment and reporting.
- Proactively ensure thehighest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Monitor and testapplication performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions,and work with developers to implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup,and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain customscripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time onany tasks
- Perform SLIFT key/ SFTPPassword/ SSL and RDP Cert changes.
- Maintain the list ofsoftware inventory.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- At least a Diploma inComputer Science, Computing, Engineering, IT or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of workingexperience in Information Technology.
- Good knowledge of filetransfer and security technologies, such as SFTP, file encryption etc.
- Good knowledge of Java WebApplication development, JEE frameworks.
- Knowledge of COTS and toolslisted for EAI-MFT.
- Knowledge of XML, OraclePL/SQL and MS SQL query language.
- Knowledge of Windowsadministration, scripting and UNIX/LINUX cron.
