The opportunity

The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and recommending optimal pricing strategies for products or services while considering market trends, competitor pricing, and company costs to maximize profitability. The position sits within the Strategic Forecasting and Pricing Department, reporting to Chesalon Payne, Supervisor, Pricing.

The role

  • Works with cross functional partners to analyze company costs, industry pricing, and sales market.
  • Identify opportunities for price adjustments to improve sales and profitability.
  • Presents recommendations and analysis to internal stakeholders for review and approval.
  • Analysis and administration of competitive intelligence.
  • Review credits and pricing holds, investigate root causes of any pricing errors.

The requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics or a related discipline and at least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Very strong attention to detail and well-developed multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and organize tasks, meet deadlines, and maximize productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, prepare reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience using data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, maintain data accuracy, and present findings in a clear and meaningful manner.
