Analyst Programmer (6-Month)
Summary
6-month fixed-term contract at NHT Global to develop custom features and migrate the company's legacy backoffice onto the Exigo PaaS-based e-commerce/backoffice platform. Day-to-day work is ASP.NET (C#) web and backoffice development, MS SQL Server data migration and optimization, and third-party integrations.
Role Overview:
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role supporting moving of our current backoffice to the new Exigo PaaS-based e-commerce and backoffice platform. Focus on custom feature development, data handling, legacy system migration, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Platform Development & Enhancement:
· Develop and maintain features and business logic using ASP.NET (C#) for web and backoffice systems.
· Fix issues, optimize performance, and ensure code quality and scalability.
2. Data Management & Database Operations:
· Support data migrations and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scheduled jobs in MSSQL Server.
· Maintain data integrity during migrations and operations.
3. System Migration & Integration:
· Migrate legacy systems and data to the Exigo PaaS solution.
· Integrate with third-party services and vendors, coordinate deliverables, and resolve issues.
4. Project Collaboration & Support:
· Attend weekly project meetings with the project coordinator.
· Collaborate with teams, attend meetings (including evenings as needed), and provide guidance, troubleshooting, and documentation.
· Support testing, code reviews, and milestone delivery.
Required Experience:
· Higher diploma or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
· 3+ years of relevant working experience in web application development and implementation, preferably in e-commerce or backoffice systems.
· Experienced in the following technologies: ASP.NET MVC (C#), ASP.NET Core, MS-SQL database; JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React.js, Node.js) will be an advantage.
· Strong expertise in MSSQL Server (stored procedures, query optimization, scheduled jobs).
· Well-versed in Git for version control and collaborative development.
· Proven experience in data migration, system integrations, and vendor coordination.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced.
· Fluent in written and spoken English.
