Analyst Programmer (J2EE, PL/SQL)

Our clients, to regulate and supervise the operation of the Mandatory Provident Fund schemes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop IT applications using IBM WebSphere and MyEclipse

• Implement Java EE applications, creating REST web services and utilizing JSF/ICEfaces v4.3 and ACE components

• Collaborate with database teams to manage Oracle 19C and perform PL/SQL programming

• Utilize Spring framework, Hibernate, iBATIS, and myBATIS for application development

• Ensure adherence to SDLC methodologies throughout the development process

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in both English and Chinese

Requirements

• A recognized degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent;

• At least 2 years of solid experience in IT application development of which one year must be in similar post and in a comparable capacity while proficiency in the following is a must:

• IBM WebSphere, MyEclipse

• Java EE, REST web service, JSF/ICEfaces v4.3, ACE components

• Oracle 19C with PL/SQL

• Spring framework, Hibernate, iBATIS, myBATIS

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation

The candidates with proficiency in the following would be an advantage:

• JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, ReactJS

• Responsive web design

• Conversant with SDLC development methodology;

• Good communication skills, being a team player, and ability to work effectively with MPFA colleagues; and

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
