Analyst (Project Manager, Supply Chain, Fabricated Metal Parts)

What are your contributions to the team?

The Analyst (Project Manager) is responsible for leading and executing strategic initiatives within Bombardier’s aerospace supply chain. This role ensures the successful delivery of projects related to procurement, logistics, supplier performance, inventory optimization, and production support. The position requires strong cross-functional coordination to align with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and external partners.

In your role, you will:

• Lead end-to-end supply chain projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, production, quality, engineering) to ensure project execution and delivery.
• Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives, including risk mitigation, capacity planning, and delivery reliability.
• Monitor project performance using KPIs (cost, schedule, quality, inventory levels) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and manage risks related to supply chain disruptions, including mitigation and contingency planning.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and status reports.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a minimum of five (5) years of high-quality professional experience in a Project Management role; eight (8) years or more preferred.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• You have strong research & analytical skills with a commitment to rigour and attention to details.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Strong informal leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• You have knowledge of the aerospace industry (an asset) or otherwise in a complex manufacturing environment (preferred).
• You are able to work in English and French on a daily basis.
• You are able to work on site at one of our Montreal facilities at least two (2) days per week, sometimes more, as per the applicable policy.
