Analyst, Revenue Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analyst, Revenue Operations based in Canada.

This is a high-impact analytical role supporting the full go-to-market organization across Sales, Customer Success, and Finance.
You’ll serve as a key analytical resource, turning raw CRM and business data into reliable models, forecasts, and actionable insights.
The role has a strong focus on revenue performance, including pipeline health, forecasting, renewals, retention, churn, and sales productivity.
You’ll build analytical logic from the ground up, with advanced Excel and financial modeling skills at the core of the position.
You’ll also contribute to executive reporting, annual planning, quota-setting, and broader revenue growth initiatives.
The environment is fast-paced, data-driven, and highly collaborative, with significant exposure to senior GTM leadership.
This opportunity is particularly well suited to a rigorous, curious analyst who enjoys investigating why the numbers move and turning findings into recommendations.

Accountabilities

  • Build and maintain renewal and retention reporting, including churn cohort analyses, renewal pipeline health, at-risk account identification, and root-cause analysis of retention challenges.
  • Develop and maintain forecast accuracy models comparing submitted forecasts with actual closed-won results across segments, products, representative cohorts, and reporting periods.
  • Monitor forecast input quality, including submission completeness, required-field adherence, and commit/upside/pipeline categorization by segment and representative.
  • Support sales productivity analysis covering quota attainment, representative ramp curves, win rates, sales cycles, average contract value, and pipeline-to-close conversion.
  • Maintain capacity and coverage models, providing headcount, ramp, and productivity inputs for annual operating plans and in-year forecasting.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations systems and data teams to identify data-quality issues, CRM workflow problems, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Support recurring data reconciliation between Salesforce, Customer Success platforms, and Finance while maintaining clear documentation of metric definitions, data sources, and reporting logic.
  • Prepare data and supporting analyses for executive and board-level reporting, including churn, win/loss trends, discounting, whitespace, and pipeline-source analysis.
  • Support annual planning and quota-setting through historical performance and segment-level analysis.
  • Deliver timely ad-hoc analyses for Sales, Customer Success, and Finance leadership, clearly communicating findings, recommendations, and data limitations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytical methodologies, and revenue intelligence.
  • Requirements

    • 2–4 years of experience in Revenue Operations, FP&A, Business or Financial Analytics, Customer Success Operations, or a related analytical function, ideally within a B2B SaaS or data-driven organization.
    • Strong financial and analytical foundation, with demonstrated ability to build models and analytical logic directly from raw data rather than relying primarily on pre-built dashboards.
    • Advanced Excel capabilities, including financial modeling, multi-tab models, SUMIFS-based logic, pivot analyses, cohort tables, and scenario modeling.
    • Familiarity with key SaaS and revenue metrics such as ARR, GRR, NRR, pipeline coverage, forecast accuracy, win rate, churn, renewal rate, and customer health scoring.
    • Hands-on Salesforce reporting experience, including the ability to build reports and dashboards, understand objects and relationships, and troubleshoot data-quality issues.
    • Strong analytical rigor and attention to accuracy, with the ability to validate work, document methodology, identify limitations, and communicate appropriate caveats.
    • Proven ability to produce accurate recurring deliverables under time pressure, including weekly reporting, monthly management packages, and ad-hoc analyses.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into concise, business-friendly insights.
    • Highly organized and dependable, with the ability to manage recurring reporting calendars, meet deadlines, and proactively communicate potential issues.
    • Curious and self-directed approach, with a willingness to investigate unexpected results, identify root causes, and proactively share findings.
    • Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI is a plus but secondary to strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
    • Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, Gong, Gainsight, Clari, or Aviso is advantageous.
    • Experience supporting executive or board-level reporting within a B2B SaaS environment is preferred.
    • Basic understanding of SaaS revenue recognition and the relationship between bookings and recognized revenue is a plus.
    • Benefits

      • Starting salary range of $115,000–$124,000 USD per year for U.S.-based employees.
      • Canadian salary range of $96,000–$110,000 CAD where applicable.
      • Compensation is determined based on relevant skills, education, qualifications, experience, performance, organizational needs, and internal equity.
      • Remote work options available in the United States and Canada.
      • Opportunity to work across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Revenue Operations.
      • High-visibility role with exposure to executive reporting, revenue strategy, forecasting, and business planning.
      • Inclusive, collaborative, and data-driven working environment.
      • Opportunity to contribute to strategic growth initiatives and develop expertise across the full revenue lifecycle.
      • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity.
      • Workplace accommodations are available throughout the recruitment and selection process where required.
