Analyst (SAP FICO) @ Central / Up $13000

Key Accountabilities
Strategic Finance Process Optimization & Architecture
Conduct a comprehensive review of existingfinance processes implemented in SAP, with a specific focus on Energy Tradingmodules and General Ledger functionalities.
Identify functional gaps, inefficiencies, andrisks in current workflows, particularly concerning system integrations anddata flow between trading platforms and SAP.
Design and recommend architectural improvementsthat align with global standards for trading companies, ensuring scalability,auditability, and operational excellence.
Lead the redesign of period-end closingprocesses, implementing best practices to reduce close cycles, improveaccuracy, and enhance reporting timeliness.
Integration & System Alignment
Evaluate and enhance integration architecturesbetween SAP Finance, Energy Trading Systems, and other enterprise applications.
Ensure seamless data integrity andsynchronization across systems, minimizing manual interventions andreconciliation efforts.
Collaborate with IT solution architects totranslate business requirements into technical specifications for systemenhancements or new implementations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) bridging ATC Global Finance, ATS Day-to-Day Finance, and IT teams.
Partner with Global Finance leadership to ensurethat all proposed changes support broader organizational goals and regulatorycompliance.
Mentor junior finance systems analysts andprovide guidance to business users on best practices for SAP Finance usage
Ongoing Finance Support
Provide continued support for day-to-day finance operations ensuring stability and reliability during the transformation period.
Experience in supporting for settlement (AP/AR), treasury, GL, financial reporting or credit management which are essential for this job.
Assist in resolving complex transactionalissues, system errors, or user access problems as they arise.
Train new employees about commodity management modules
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, orrelated field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, SAPCertification) preferred.
10+ years of professional experience in SAPFinance (FI/CO), with a significant portion dedicated to architecture, processdesign, or system implementation.
Minimum 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Energy Trading processes, including physical and financialtrading, risk management, and commodity accounting.
Proven track record of leading large-scale finance transformation projects in a global trading or multinational environment.
Expertise in configuration and implementation of Financial Accounting (FI) and Managerial Accounting (CO).
Working knowledge of Group Reporting, SAC Planning, Receivables Management, and Document Reporting and Compliance.
Experience in integration with SAP Applicationareas, preferably Oil and Gas, such as TSW, SD, MM, HR & Payroll, and LE.
