MSSG is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented individual to support the research team in its research activities and contribute to the delivery of high-quality market insights.

Roles and responsibilities :

  • Conduct research and analysis on listed companies for the purpose of issuing reports with recommendations to institutional and retail clients.
  • To promote our investment ideas to our clients.
  • To assist clients with their investment needs.
  • To look for good stock ideas to help build the product side of the institutional & retail equities and investment banking business.
  • Specifically, this means working with our equity salespeople to open and develop client accounts, support the investment banking division in their pitches for deals as well as participating in outreach activities for our retail clientele.
  • To be ranked highly or within agreed KPIs, whichever is higher, for relevant sector coverage.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree in Finance with at least 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical skills and finance knowledge
  • Strong command of English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications and Bloomberg
  • Some fixed income analysis experience will be an added advantage
  • Experience in programming (Python, R) and financial data analytics will be an added advantage
