Fully remote within the US.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analyst Third-Party Risk Management based in the United States.

As an Analyst, Third-Party Risk Management, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of an enterprise third-party risk program.
You’ll help ensure vendors are properly onboarded, assessed, monitored, and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
The role combines vendor governance, risk assessment, data quality, issue tracking, and reporting responsibilities.
You’ll work closely with Procurement, Legal, business stakeholders, vendors, and experienced risk professionals to keep risk activities accurate and on schedule.
Your work will contribute to identifying potential third-party risks and ensuring remediation efforts are properly documented and followed through.
This is an early-career opportunity to develop practical expertise in risk frameworks, assessment methodologies, and vendor governance.
You’ll join a collaborative environment where attention to detail, accountability, continuous learning, and data accuracy are highly valued.

Accountabilities:

  • Support the end-to-end third-party and vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, periodic reviews, ongoing monitoring, and offboarding.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, business teams, and other stakeholders to ensure vendor activities comply with established third-party governance requirements.
  • Maintain and update the vendor inventory within the organization’s risk management system.
  • Review vendor records to ensure information is complete, accurate, current, and aligned with established data standards.
  • Perform routine data-quality checks, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Assist with categorizing vendors according to inherent risk levels and business criticality.
  • Execute standardized third-party risk assessments under the guidance of senior risk professionals.
  • Collect, organize, and validate risk information provided by vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Document assessment findings, risk ratings, supporting rationale, and relevant follow-up actions.
  • Monitor assessment completion and proactively follow up with stakeholders to ensure submissions are completed within required timelines.
  • Record and monitor third-party risk incidents, issues, and exceptions within the risk management system.
  • Track remediation activities, maintain accurate status information, and follow up with responsible parties to support timely resolution.
  • Support the preparation of risk reports, dashboards, summaries, and other materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Gather and validate information used to calculate Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and other third-party risk metrics.
  • Contribute to recurring reporting cycles by reviewing data quality and preparing clear summaries of relevant risk activity.
  • Support improvements to third-party risk management processes, workflows, tools, templates, and procedures.
  • Participate in testing and workflow enhancements within enterprise risk management and third-party risk management systems.
  • Help maintain accurate documentation covering procedures, assessment methodologies, templates, guidelines, and operational processes.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
    • 2+ years of experience in risk management, vendor management, compliance, or a related discipline.
    • Basic understanding of third-party risk management concepts, vendor governance, and risk assessment practices.
    • Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on data accuracy, completeness, and quality.
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and track multiple tasks, stakeholders, and deadlines effectively.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with basic data reporting and analysis tools.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while following established processes and guidance from senior team members.
    • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, particularly when managing assessment requests, remediation actions, and recurring deadlines.
    • Eagerness to develop knowledge of risk frameworks, assessment methodologies, vendor governance practices, and enterprise risk processes.
    • Ability to work independently on routine operational activities while recognizing when issues require escalation.
    • Comfortable working extensively with computers, multiple software applications, phone systems, and digital risk management platforms.
    • Able to work remotely from within the United States and remain available five days per week during designated working hours.
    • Benefits:

      • Fully remote position within the United States, with no regular in-office requirement.
      • Annual base salary range of $57,300–$82,000, with final compensation based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
      • Comprehensive benefits package.
      • Opportunity to build foundational expertise in third-party risk management, vendor governance, compliance, and enterprise risk.

      • Collaborative team environment focused on learning, professional development, and continuous improvement.
      • Inclusive workplace that values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, experiences, and approaches.
