Overview
The Qlik Sense Specialist will be part of the Data Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards and analytical solutions that empower business users with actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in Qlik Sense development, strong understanding of data modeling, and excellent communication skills to work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders across multiple business domains.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and applications to support business reporting and analytics needs.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to source, transform, and model data from Snowflake, SQL Server, and other data sources.
- Optimize data models and Qlik applications for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Implement visualizations, KPIs, and storyboards aligned with business requirements and design best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate them into efficient dashboard designs.
- Conduct unit testing, validation, and documentation of dashboards and data logic.
- Support ongoing enhancements, troubleshoot performance issues, and deploy updates through established CI/CD pipelines.
- Partner with the Data Analytics and Insights team to align reporting outputs with strategic decision-making requirements.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Qlik Sense developer/consultant
- Experience working on enterprise-level BI projects
- Strong understanding of data modeling and dashboard optimization
- Able to collaborate with both technical and business teams
- Python (nice to have)
- Tech Stack: Mandatory Qlik Sense and SQL
- Preferred Snowflake
- Experience Level: 1–3 years in data engineering or analytics roles
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools
