At Capitole, we are looking for an Analytics Engineer to join an international data team focused on transforming data into business value.
We are looking for a professional with strong analytical skills, a business-oriented mindset and hands-on experience working with modern data platforms. The role combines Business Analytics, Data Quality and analytical modelling, contributing to both business decision-making and data-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Transform business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Define KPIs and metrics to support data-driven decision making.
- Develop and optimize data solutions using Databricks, Python, PySpark and SQL.
- Improve data quality through validation processes, monitoring and issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development, deployment and monitoring of statistical and Machine Learning models in production environments.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Experience with Databricks and PySpark.
- Experience working with business stakeholders and translating business needs into analytical solutions.
- Experience with statistical modelling or traditional Machine Learning techniques such as forecasting, regression, classification or clustering.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Azure or AWS.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in Data Quality and data governance.
- Familiarity with ML lifecycle management tools such as MLflow.
- Experience with Airflow or Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with data visualization tools.
Location: 100% Remote
Schedule: 40h/week. Flexible, with reduced hours on Fridays
Language: English (C1), Spanish (B2)
