Analytics Engineer

About the role

Own the group's data & analytics platform end-to-end — from data pipelines and data warehouse / data models to Power BI and an AI-ready data layer — so that management and every BU (Bearhouse, Sunsu FMCG, JV, Franchise) have a single source of truth for timely decision-making, supporting the company's growth toward IPO 2030.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain pipelines from SAP B1, SAP S/4HANA, POS (FoodStory), delivery platforms and other sources into Azure SQL MI via dbt, with monitoring, alerting and documentation

• Design dimensional models (star schema) and a central semantic layer for Sales, Branch P&L, Inventory and Cost so every report shares the same definitions

• Build Power BI semantic models, DAX measures and executive dashboards; consolidate duplicate reports across BUs into a single standard

• Develop APIs / MCP servers that let AI (Claude) query the data warehouse securely, enabling self-service analytics for management and business teams

• Maintain access control, dev/prod separation, audit trails and data quality checks in line with ITGC and audit requirements

• Gather requirements from Finance, Operations, Marketing and BUs and turn them into data products; co-plan the data platform roadmap with the IT Director

• Take over work from the existing team and produce documentation so the platform is not dependent on any individual

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, IT or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or BI

• Advanced SQL and Python for data pipelines

• Hands-on experience with dbt (or a comparable transformation framework) and solid understanding of dimensional modeling

• Experience with the Azure data stack (Azure SQL / Data Factory / Fabric)

• Power BI at the level of building semantic models, DAX, row-level security and executive dashboards independently

• Understanding of how LLMs / AI are applied to data work (APIs, MCP, or real use of Claude/ChatGPT in data tasks)

• Understanding of data governance and access control fundamentals to support audit

• Preferred: Data experience with ERP (SAP B1 / S/4HANA) or multi-branch retail / F&B

• Preferred: Experience building APIs or MCP servers for AI agents
