Android Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern architectures like MVVM/Clean, collaborating with product and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical reference for Android development, supporting architecture decisions and ensuring code quality;
- Actively participate in the product's technical definition, from understanding requirements through implementation;
- Develop robust, scalable and high-performance solutions using Kotlin and modern Android best practices;
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Design, Backend, QA) to ensure alignment and clarity in deliverables;
- Promote and share development best practices, conduct code reviews and apply design patterns;
- Mentor less-experienced developers, contributing to the team's growth;
- Proactively identify and resolve complex issues and drive continuous technical improvements;
- Ensure quality through testing (unit and integration) and automation;
- Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and delivery processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field;
- Strong experience in Android development;
- Proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android ecosystem;
- Experience with modern architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI);
- Jetpack Compose (strong plus or in adoption);
- Android Jetpack (ViewModel, LiveData/Flow, Navigation, Room, etc.);
- REST API consumption (Retrofit, OkHttp);
- Experience with dependency injection (Hilt, Dagger or similar);
- Knowledge of coding best practices, SOLID principles and Clean Code;
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows;
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, MockK or similar);
- Familiarity with CI/CD and publishing to the Play Store.
