Android Developer (MQTT, 22-27K)
Salary: $22,000 – $27,000 per month
Job Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Implement scalable, maintainable features within a modular Android architecture.
Integrate applications with backend services using REST APIs and MQTT messaging.
Participate in architectural design, code reviews and technical planning.
Diagnose and resolve production issues across application and integration layers.
Maintain high code quality through automated testing and peer reviews.
Collaborate with Product, QA, Backend and DevOps teams throughout the software lifecycle.
Contribute to CI/CD improvements and application performance, security and reliability.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
2+ years’ experience in commercial Android development.
Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Solid practical experience in Android architecture patterns (MVVM).
Experience in integrating REST APIs and MQTT messaging.
Experience with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in developing applications for hospitality, IoT or connected-device environments is an advantage.
Immediate available is highly preferred.
Good communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
