Location: San Diego, CA- Hybrid role

Experience: 8-10 Years

Visa: Only GC & USC

Contract: W2 Only (No Chance of C2C / 1099)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing and developing mobile applications using Java and Kotlin. The candidate will be responsible for independent application development, debugging, API integration, and implementing scalable mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Develop mobile applications based on technical specifications and business requirements.
• Work with Android SDK and Android Architecture components/frameworks.
• Integrate applications with backend services using REST/Web Services, JSON, and XML.
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Android applications.
• Stay current with new Android platform features, frameworks, and development practices.
• Participate throughout the Mobile Application Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on Android application development experience.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Android Architecture.
• Excellent Core Java/OOPs knowledge.
• Experience with API/Web Service integration, JSON, and XML.
• Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of mobile application design patterns and frameworks.
• Ability to work independently on Android application development.
