About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with strong experience in native mobile development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance Android applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications.
- Implement new features ensuring high quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Apply MVVM architecture patterns in production environments.
- Work extensively with Jetpack components.
- Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions, and code reviews.
- Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement practices.
- Collaborate effectively in an international, English-speaking environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Android development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin.
- Proven experience working with Jetpack libraries and components.
- Solid experience implementing MVVM architecture.
- English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model based in Bogotá, Colombia.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of Clean Architecture principles.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
