About the Role

SBSC Nigeria is seeking an Android Developer to design, build, maintain, and optimize high-quality Android applications. The role involves API integration, UI development, troubleshooting, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using modern development practices.
• Build responsive user interfaces following Android design guidelines.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Debug and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.
• Stay updated on Android development trends and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Android development, Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, and Android Studio.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and mobile application development.
• Strong understanding of software development, testing, and version control.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
