Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose.
Build scalable, secure, and responsive mobile applications following Android best practices.
Develop reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and backend developers to deliver new features.
Optimize application performance, stability, and user experience.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues throughout the development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries into Android applications.
Support application releases, deployments, and production issue resolution.
Provide technical guidance and support to offshore development teams as needed.
Stay current with Android platform updates and emerging mobile technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of Android application development experience.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for modern Android UI development.
Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android architecture components, and Material Design principles.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON.
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack libraries.
Knowledge of Coroutines, Flow, LiveData, and Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger).
Familiarity with unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
