About the Role
FairMoney, a digital platform providing instant loans through its Android app, is seeking an Android Engineer to join its Technology Division. The successful candidate will contribute to product development, code quality, and engineering team growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and test new features throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain high coding and software quality standards.
- Share technical knowledge and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with engineers in Lagos and across the globe.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in native Android development.
- Minimum of 4 years of coding experience in Kotlin/Java.
- At least 2 years of experience with pair programming, TDD, and code reviews.
- At least 2 years of experience with unit, instrumented, and end-to-end testing.
- Proficiency in clean, efficient coding and multi-module applications.
- Familiarity with Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines or RxJava.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools effectively.
- Strong communication, teamwork, initiative, and independent working skills.
