Android Mobile Engineer
You will design, develop, and maintain Android and iOS applications that integrate with telecom platform APIs. You will build maintainable mobile architecture, collaborate on API integrations, implement testable code, contribute to architecture decisions, optimize performance, resolve issues, review code, and support releases and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android and iOS applications that integrate with the telecom platform and APIs
- Build scalable and maintainable mobile application architecture using modern Android and iOS frameworks
- Collaborate with backend and platform engineers to design efficient API integrations
- Implement reusable and testable code following engineering best practices
- Participate in architecture discussions and improve the mobile engineering stack
- Write and maintain unit tests and automated tests
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and battery efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across devices and operating system versions
- Participate in code reviews
- Support mobile application releases and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile deployments
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing Android or iOS mobile applications
- Proficiency in Kotlin or Java for Android development
- Familiarity with the iOS platform
- Experience with modern Android frameworks and libraries
- Experience integrating mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Familiarity with MVVM, MVI, or similar mobile architecture patterns
- Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and the Android build ecosystem
- Debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience working in agile engineering environments
- Communication and documentation skills
