Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is looking for a Full Time Anesthesiologist. This facility gives residents of Lancaster and York counties additional access to Penn State Health’s expertise and specialty services without having to make the drive to Hershey. The facility is currently under construction with completion expected in October of 2022. Once opened, our new facility will help ensure residents in nearby communities have access, quality and choice of care as close to home as possible. This new, acute care facility will play a major role in helping Penn State Health reach its long-term goal of making sure the people in the communities we serve are within. Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• Current medical licensure
• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
