Responsibilities
- Duties include full scope of practice as an anesthesiologist providing care to patients within the Eastern Zone and participating in call.
- The physician will be responsible to the Zone Department Head of Anesthesia for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
- Opportunity to offer services in the Pain Clinic if desired
Expected Hours
- Permanent Full-Time
Remuneration
- Estimated annual salary $525-550,000 CAD
- Fee for Service (Pain Clinic services are paid at a sessional rate)

- All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- All specialists must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada(RCPSC)
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA), or proof of alternative coverage.
