The Role:

This is an Angular-focused UI engineering role working on a business-critical electronic trading platform within a global investment bank.

You will help modernise the front end of a high-visibility trading application, building responsive and reliable interfaces used by front-office teams. The work is technically hands-on, with genuine input into UI architecture, engineering standards and how the platform develops over time.

What You Will Be Doing:

1. Designing and delivering complex trading interfaces using Angular and TypeScript
2. Improving front-end architecture, component design and application performance
3. Turning trading and product requirements into clear, usable workflows
4. Working directly with traders, product specialists, engineers and application support
5. Contributing to technical design decisions and challenging unnecessarily complex solutions
6. Building automated tests and helping strengthen release and delivery practices
7. Supporting a shared global codebase while managing changes across interconnected applications

What You Bring:

1. Strong Angular and TypeScript engineering skills, backed by solid JavaScript fundamentals
2. Experience building substantial browser-based applications with complex user interactions
3. Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS and responsive interface development
4. A clear understanding of component architecture, state management and front-end performance
5. Confidence discussing requirements and technical trade-offs with both engineers and front-office users
6. Strong software engineering habits around testing, code review, source control and continuous delivery
7. Experience with real-time applications, electronic trading, fixed income, Kafka or Linux environments would be useful, but the core requirement is high-quality Angular UI engineering.
