New Horizon Kennel is seeking a skilled and motivated Animal Groomer to join our on-site salon. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Pay & Schedule

We offer a competitive compensation structure designed to reward your skills and productivity:

• Commission-based pay for full grooms
• Hourly pay for additional services

• Earning potential: Successful groomers can earn $50,000+ annually, with higher earning potential based on productivity and client retention.

Schedule:

• Five shifts per week, typically 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Availability between Monday–Sunday
• Schedule may vary based on business needs

What You'll Do

As an Animal Groomer, you'll play a key role in ensuring pets receive high-quality care and grooming services.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing full grooms, including haircuts, bathing, and nail care
• Ensuring each pet's comfort, safety, and well-being
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming (SPAW) environment
• Following strict hygiene and safety protocols
• Accurately charting grooming details and communicating with the Client Services Team

With support from our Pet Care Technicians and Client Service Specialists, you'll be able to focus on delivering excellent grooming services.

What We're Looking For

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 2 years of grooming experience
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
