Ansible automation engineer

Designs and maintains Ansible playbooks to automate server provisioning, configuration, and deployment across Linux and Windows environments, integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
We are seeking an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer with 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience and strong expertise in infrastructure automation using Ansible. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience automating server provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational tasks across Linux and Windows environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
Automate server provisioning, configuration management, patching, and deployment activities.
Manage Linux and Windows infrastructure through Ansible.
Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize existing automation processes.
Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams to improve operational efficiency.
Maintain automation documentation and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
Required Skills
5+ years of IT Infrastructure or DevOps experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, including Playbooks, Roles, Inventories, and Ansible Tower/AWX.
Experience with Linux administration and basic Windows administration.
Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell.
Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Experience with VMware, AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is an advantage.
Strong troubleshooting, scripting, and automation skills
