Anti-Money-Laundering Analyst (German speaking)

Are you passionate about ensuring compliance in the gaming industry? This is a unique opportunity for Anti-Money-Laundering Analyst (German speaking) with igaming experience with a focus in AML to join a sports betting brand in Malta.

You will review customer activity, investigate risk alerts, conduct customer due diligence and help ensure the business meets its regulatory obligations.

Tasks

  • Review customer accounts for AML and financial crime risks.
  • Investigate transaction monitoring alerts.
  • Conduct CDD, EDD, affordability, source of funds and source of wealth checks.
  • Communicate with customers to gather information and assess risk.
  • Escalate suspicious or high-risk cases to senior Compliance or the MLRO.
  • Apply or recommend account restrictions, limits, exclusions or closures.
  • Maintain accurate, clear and audit-ready case records.
  • Support compliance monitoring, audits and process improvements

Requirements

  • Experience in AML, fraud and customer due diligence.
  • Professional proficiency in German, both written and spoken.
  • Good knowledge of AML principles.
  • Strong analytical, communication and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases.
  • A discreet and professional approach to sensitive information.
