Long-Term Leave Replacement – Grade 3 Elementary Teacher

The Oceanport Board of Education anticipates an opening for a Grade 3 Elementary Teacher beginning March 1, 2027.

Required Certification:

• New Jersey Elementary School Teacher (K–6) certification

Qualifications:

• Possess appropriate New Jersey teacher certification
• Ability to engage and motivate students in learning
• Strong classroom management skills
• Knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards
• Ability to collect and use data to guide instructional decisions
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills when working with students, staff, administrators, parents, and the community

Compensation: $61,985 – $62,735

Benefits: This position does not include health insurance. Employees are entitled to sick, personal, and family illness days.
