AP Analyst

What You’ll Do:

  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month
  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve invoice discrepancies and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Research and resolve aged Goods Receipts Not Invoiced (GRNI) items
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries from suppliers and internal customers
  • Review high-risk payments to ensure adequate support and documentation
  • Maintain ERP master data and ensure data accuracy
  • Liaise with buyers, requestors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve critical issues preventing payment
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on problem queue invoicing and aging analysis
  • Maintain documentation to support AP transactions for efficient audit and review
  • Execute the 1099 reporting process and associated activities
  • Assist with month-end AP close activities
  • Collaborate with team members and serve as backup when needed
  • Comply with all internal control procedures to ensure accurate financial records

What You Bring:

  • Associate’s degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable
  • Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  • General knowledge of collections practices and customer negotiations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance. The typical pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and market conditions.
