APAC IT Manager

Overall Job Purpose Based in the Global GEC IT team, this role owns IT services for GEC APAC (China, Australia, Korea, SEA). You collaborate with local leadership, global GEC IT and Gunnebo Group central IT, covering infrastructure, ERP, business application support and IT projects in manufacturing & service environments. Works in a matrix setup, interacts with global stakeholders and may travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage & support IT hardware infrastructure and local applications with internal/external partners to ensure stable system operation

• Roll out global IT policies to safeguard IT security, reliability and availability

• Develop and control IT budgets, align spend with business targets

• Manage vendor relationships to deliver IT services on time and on budget

• Evaluate and propose new technologies to upgrade IT infrastructure

• Partner with business functions to capture requirements and deliver IT solutions

• Execute disaster recovery & business continuity arrangements

• Support ISMS / ISO2700x implementation and maintenance

Requirements

• High integrity, honest and reliable

• Fluent English

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science OR minimum 5 years IT management experience

• Solid knowledge of hardware, software, networks and ERP systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel)

• Familiar with cloud technologies

• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work in cross-functional teams with limited supervision

• Autonomous, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership of tasks

• Sharp problem-solving capability and fast learner

• Good communication at all seniority levels; strong analytical & technical writing skills

• Capable of IT budget planning and management

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 ERP

• Knowledge of IT security, compliance and regulatory requirements
