Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Strategy and Network Design professional to support a strategic transformation programme for a global Food & Beverage / QSR organisation in the Asia-Pacific region.

The initial phase will focus on analysing the current regional supply chain model and developing recommendations for the future logistics and distribution setup. Following approval of the proposed strategy, the programme is expected to move into an implementation phase lasting approximately one year.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the current flow of products across the APAC region.
• Assess the existing warehouse, distribution and logistics network.
• Identify opportunities for consolidation, centralisation and process improvement.
• Conduct supply chain and logistics modelling.
• Challenge and validate hypotheses developed by local operational teams.
• Develop a future-state supply chain and logistics model.
• Build the supporting business case.
• Translate complex analysis into a clear strategic narrative for executive stakeholders.
• Support the creation of an actionable implementation roadmap.
• Work independently on a day-to-day basis, with support and oversight from a European Centre of Excellence.

Required experience

• Approximately 8-12 years of experience in supply chain strategy, logistics or management consulting.
• Strong experience in logistics network design, supply chain modelling or solution design.
• Good understanding of warehouse and product distribution flows.
• Ability to perform detailed analytical and modelling work independently.
• Experience preparing business cases and executive-level recommendations.
• Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Food & Beverage, FMCG, retail or QSR environments would be highly valuable.
• Previous consulting experience would be an advantage.

Specific knowledge of SAP, WMS, Blue Yonder or other supply chain technologies is not required. The role is focused primarily on strategy, analysis and logistics network design.

Candidates do not need to be permanently based in Hong Kong but must be located within the APAC region and able to travel there regularly.
